Website Overview
FreeStockImages came online in August 2006. The site receives over 20,000 unique visitors per month (Google analytics) excluding the blog traffic. The site is very highly ranked in all SE's for popular search terms including 'stock images'. It also has 'authority links' in Google and has been linked to from blog posts including one which reached the front page of Digg.
History - Before February 4th 2007
Prior to February 4th FreeStockImages.net was a community where photographers could upload images and webmasters could download them. However the site was critically attacked by hackers and the service was closed.
History - After February 4th 2007
The website was originally going to be closed and left dormant, however we came up with the idea of a great site listing stock image resources.
Current Services
On the site we currently provide our main service reviewing providers of stock images, graphics, icons, fonts and sound clips. We also have a web design blog, HDR section and free image hosting service.
