Frequently Asked QuestionsThe definiton of dynamic range is dependant on what you are referring to. For a camera it is the ratio of saturation to noise. Where as for a scene it is the ratio between the darkest brightest parts of the particular scene. How Do I Take A HDR Image? Many modern cameras have a 'HDR' setting which you can use to take a set amount of images of your particular scene. If your camera doesn't have this setting then you need to set your camera up on a tripod or similar equipment. Then take 3 photos using a different setting for the level of exposure each time. How Much Does HDR Software Cost? This depends on what software you buy, we recommend buying Photoshop CS3 (which has it built in) or if you have a smaller budget then buy Photomatix.
